Child Care Resume Examples

Updated April 15, 2021

Child care workers work in child care centers, within their homes, or in private households. Jobs for child care workers are projected to grow by 2% (or 19,500 jobs) from 2019 to 2029, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), with 160,200 new openings each year, on average. These openings result mainly from a need to replace workers permanently leaving the occupation and an increase of working parents requiring child care. The BLS expects demand for child care facilities to remain consistent as childhood education and care are essential for children’s intellectual and emotional development. However, the increasing cost of child care and the ability to work from home may negatively affect the need for workers.

In a competitive field, it’s essential to make your resume stand out from others. To see resume examples and learn how better to match your resume to a specific job description, keep reading.
